Joseph Reth is the founder and CEO of Lossless Research. Reth began attending Modesto Junior College for Computer Science at the age of 14, and studied at San Francisco State University before dropping out to dedicate his full attention to the nurturing of the early concepts behind Lossless Research. Before founding Lossless Research, Joseph Reth was deeply involved in the exploration and advancement of agentic and neural language models. His previous work at RethX involved privately releasing ECHO-1, an AI agent and language model fine-tuned from GPT-Neo-2.7B, GPT-J6B, and GPT-NeoX-20B. ECHO-1 successfully operated over 30 brands' social media accounts, reaching millions of people and interacting with thousands of individuals.
